Alfred L. Ball

Ellaville, GA --- Mr. Alfred L. Ball, age 70, of Americus, GA died Friday, March 24, 2017 at his residence.  A private family burial was held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church.  Bro. CJ Yarbrough officiated.

      Mr. Ball was born March 21, 1947 in Sumter County, the son of the late Alfred West Ball and Mary Evelyn Bivins Ball.   He had worked in construction.  Mr. Ball was of the Baptist faith.

     Mr. Ball is survived by one son, Al Ball and his companion Judy Lynn Graham; one daughter, Lisa Cromer and her companion, Bobby Harper; one sister, Elaine Clyde; three grandchildren, Kevin Cromer and wife Melissa, Erica Graham and companion Layman Bozeman, Andrew Ball; two great grandchildren, Jasper Cromer, Caleb Bozeman; one aunt,Susie Price; and one uncle, Stanley Bivins. He is also survived by several cousins.  In addition to his parents Mr. Ball was preceded in death by one son, Roger Dale Ball; one daughter, Mary Ball; and one brother James Schofield
