Annette Christian

Mrs. Annette Schley Christian, 87, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019, at Columbus Specialty Hospital in Columbus, GA. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Buena Vista Cemetery with Rev. Robert McDaniel officiating.

Mrs. Christian was born January 8, 1932, in Chattahoochee County, GA, to Fred Kirkley and Eula R. Harris Schley. She was a United Methodist and a member of Buena Vista United Methodist Church. Mrs. Christian was employed for 26 years as a secretary with the University of Georgia Extension Service where she thoroughly enjoyed working with the 4-H children especially on their DPA projects. She had a passion for flower gardening and enjoyed reading and needlework. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Beecher Christian.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Robert McDaniel of Columbus, GA; by a grandson, Ian Christian Walter of Lake Harding, GA; and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Christian Walter.
