Anthony Jerome Williams

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Anthony “A. J.", "Tony” Jerome Williams, age 55, of Ellaville, GA died Tuesday morning June 10, 2014 at his residence.  Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, June 13, 2014 in Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, GA.   Rev. Will Rayburn will officiate. 

     Mr. Williams was born January 9, 1959 in Harford County, MD, the son of Mary Louise Williams of Midland, GA and the late Thomas Jackson Williams.  He was an Information Systems Security Administrator with Intelligent Decisions. Mr. Williams had served in the U. S. Navy for eleven years. He was a member of the Schley County Citizen Corps and Overflow Worship Center.  Mr. Williams loved spending time with his family and wife.  He was happiest wearing his boots and camo pants on the farm.

     In addition to his mother, Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Patti Michell Williams of Ellaville; five children, Taylor Tomlin and wife Melissa of Andrews Air Force Base, MD, Chance Cuyler, Thomas Williams, Will Williams and Christian “Lucas” Williams all of Ellaville and one grandchild, Amelia Grace Tomlin. Also surviving are three sisters, Rose Marie Wiggins and husband Jim of Columbus, GA, Deborah Hannah and husband Bill of Atlanta, GA, Theresa Anderson and husband Morris of Tazewell, GA. Many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his father Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Knapp and a brother, Franklin Williams.

     Visitation will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
