Bentley "Ben" Theus

     Ellaville, GA --- Mr. Bentley Theus, age 77, died Friday, January 29, 2016 at his residence.  A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, February 1, 2016 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev Joel Smith will officiate.

     Mr. Theus was born January 6, 1939 the son of Clarence Paul Theus and Ruby (Dollie) Stringfellow Theus.  He loved to ride motorcycles and watching NASCAR.  Mr. Theus was a Mason and a member of Ellaville Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Theus was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Theus Cook, in 2014.

     Survivors include his sons; Mike Theus (Leah) of Ellaville and Johnny Murray of Ellaville, one daughter; Pat Theus Bartlett (Al Stock) of Ellaville; one son in law, Jessie Cook of Americus and former spouse, Pat Theus of Jonesboro.   Mr. Theus is also survived by four grandchildren.
