Billy Daniel Thompson

Mr. Billy Daniel Thompson, 64, of Buena Vista, passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 1, 2017.  A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Oakland Church of God.

Mr. Thompson was born on August 26, 1952 to the late Frank and Loretta Thompson in Lenoir, North Carolina.  He was a forklift operator for Oakcrest Lumber.  Mr. Thompson enjoyed watching television, especially western movies and Atlanta Braves baseball.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed dearly.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Chucky Thompson.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ann Thompson of Buena Vista; three sons, William Thompson and his wife, Ivey of Seale, AL, Chris Thompson of Statesville, NC and James Tucker of Macon, GA; three daughters, Christie Thompson of Buena Vista, Loretta Robinson and her husband, Stanley of Box Springs, and April Quinn of Hawaii; three brothers, Kenneth Thompson, Robert Thompson and James Thompson; seven grandchildren, Steven Austin Stubbs and Connor Dwight Allan Stubbs, Nikole Dawn Hines, Abigail Robinson, Christopher Seiegler, Thomas Seiegler, Joseph Quinn, and Emily Quinn; and several nieces and nephews.
