Boyette Bell

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Clark Boyette Bell, age 80, of Cobb, GA died Monday morning, February 29, 2016 at his residence.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in the Ellaville Cemetery.  Rev. Jonathan Beckum will officiate.

      Mr. Bell was born December 14, 1935 in Schley County, GA, the son of Elbert Horace Bell and Leacy Grantham Bell.  He retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer from the United States Coast Guard.  After retiring from the Coast Guard, Mr. Bell taught at Calhoun and Grier County Career Center in West Virginia, and later taught science at Whigham schools and Cairo High School. He was a member of the American Legion Post 191, Ellaville and the VFW.  Mr. Bell was loved dearly and will be missed by those that knew him.

    Survivors include his wife, Maxine Bell of Cobb, GA; one daughter, Tammy Yoak and husband Randolph of Grantsville, WV; two sons, Andrew Bell and wife Angie of Cordele, GA, Joshua Bell and wife Deana of Whigham, GA; two sisters, Marilyn Sue Gurley of Jacksonville, FL, and Laura Jean Bennett of Boaz, AL.  Also surviving are six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
