Chad Robbins

Mr. Chad Robbins, 54, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Piedmont Columbus Regional – Midtown in Columbus, GA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Robbins was born March 13, 1969, in Lakeland, FL, to Thomas Edward and Nyoka Shaquellia Henson Robbins. Before his retirement, he was an auto mechanic. Mr. Robbins enjoyed drag racing, building mud trucks, mudslinging. Before his accident, he loved to travel and ride his Harley. He was always on an adventure. He was an outdoorsman and hunting and fishing were just a few of his favorite pastimes. Mr. Robbins created custom leatherworks, loved ’78 Fords and classic Broncos. An avid collector, he accumulated knives, guns, antiques, arrowheads, and pottery. Mr. Robbins loved to buy, sell, and trade anything. He loved his grandchildren and had a heart of gold. He would give the shirt off his back if it was needed. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edward Robbins, and by a son, Colby Holtz.

He is survived by his wife, Kayte Robbins of Buena Vista, GA; by his mother, Nyoka Robbins, by a son and daughter-in-law, Bradley Batke (Kasey) of Lakeland, FL; by a daughter and son-in-law, Jamiee Batke (Bryce McHan) of Webster, FL; by a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Robbins (Lesley) of Lakeland, FL; by eleven grandchildren, Romeo, Lukas, Brayden, Barrett, Karter, Isaac, Hunter, Blake, Garrett, Ethan, Aiden and one on the way; and by his father and mother-in-law, Merrill and Jane Murphy.
