Charles Hugh Culpepper, Jr.

Mr. Charles H. Culpepper, Jr., age 70, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center.  A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, from 5:00-7:00PM at Watson-Tante Funeral Home.

Mr. Culpepper was born in Miami, FL, on November 21, 1948, to Charles Hugh Culpepper, Sr. and Viola Martin Culpepper. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Mr. Culpepper was employed at Chevron as an Oil Rig Supervisor where he was able to travel around the world. He was a member of Cusseta First Baptist Church and enjoyed attending. Mr. Culpepper was a Mason and was the owner and operator of a car wash in Cusseta. He could fix anything. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a daughter, Tabitha Ann Culpepper.

He is survived by four children, Jeffrey H. and Belinda Culpepper of Cusseta, GA, Amy McDonald of Tifton, GA, Jason and Kristy Culpepper of Clinton, Utah, and Kacee Culpeper of Rome, GA; by a sister, Barbara C. and Michael Bush of Smiths Station, AL; and by five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
