Mr. Chase Allen Turner, 27, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on June 5, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Shema Baptist Church at 11:00AM with Bro. Troy Fripp officiating. Pallbearers will be Colby Belcher, Chris Harty, Patrick Hortman, Brodie Studdard, Zack Howell, and Tucker Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Dollar, Patrick McAllister, Silas Thornton and Josh Thornton. The family will greet friends at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Chase was born August 5, 1998, in Americus, GA to Pamela Fowler and Herschel A. Turner, Jr. He loved spending time outdoors and was always at the grill making food and feeding folks. Chase always wanted to be where his people were, his family and friends were his most favorite part of life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved music. Chase worked as a welder with GEA Industrial and loved his job. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Sandi West (Brent), paternal grandfather, Herschel A. Turner, Sr., and a step-great-grandfather, Joe Stubbs.

Survivors include his fiancé, Taylor Barnes of Buena Vista, GA; his father Herschel A. Turner, Jr. (Cristen) of Buena Vista, GA; his mother, Pamela Kaye Fowler Turner of LaGrange, GA; his children, Oliver Daniel Maxwell, Savannah Renee Garrett, Everleigh Saige Turner, and Riley Chase Turner; his sister, Haley Nicole Turner (Tyler Henderson) of LaGrange, GA; two step-sisters, Cori River and Camrin Rain; his maternal grandparents, David & Jean Fowler of Rupert, GA; paternal grandparents, Edna Turner of Plains, GA and Twila Stubbs Walls of Buena Vista, GA; a step-great-grandmother, Donna Stubbs of Upatoi, GA;a niece, Harper Reece Henderson of LaGrange, GA and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and loving family.
