Mrs. Claranne Linea Baddeley, 83, of Buena Vista, passed away at her residence on June 15, 2026. Services will be private.

Mrs. Baddeley was born December 19, 1943, in Minot, North Dakota to Lloyd and Hazel Swensrud. She worked as a school teacher for many years before her retirement. Mrs. Baddeley also raised, trained and rode barrel racing horses for many years. She was a wonderful wife and mother and will be missed dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Haley Fennell and a son-in-law, Sean Decter.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Charlie Baddeley of Buena Vista; a son, Chuck Baddeley of Buena Vista; a daughter, Linea Decter of St. Paul, IN; a sister, Louise McCrea (Rich) of Boise, ID; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.

Services for the Baddeley Family have been under the care and direction of Way-Watson Funeral Home.
