Clyde Jake Rigby

BUENA VISTA, GA -- Mr. Clyde Jake Rigby, 75, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County in Buena Vista, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, January 16, 2017, in the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Hess officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pleasant Grove Methodist Cemetery in Garden Valley, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12:00PM up until service time on Monday, January 16, 2017.

Mr. Rigby was born in Macon County, GA, on March 7, 1941, to Marvin G. and Erma Lee Rigby.  He was a member of Buena Vista First Baptist Church. Mr. Rigby worked at PepsiCo in the bottling plant and enjoyed fishing and racing. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Lavada Rigby of Buena Vista, GA; by a son, Kevin David Rigby of Macon, GA; by a daughter, Tracy Fowler of Ivey, GA; by two sisters, Dorothy Lowe of Butler, GA, and Sarah Smith of Newborn, GA; by a granddaughter, Terri Lyn Fowler and a great-granddaughter, Caylee Lynn Fowler.
