Mr. Kenneth Craig Davis, 43, of Buena Vista, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00AM in Tazewell Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 10:00AM. Rev. Mike Truitt and Rev. David Chapman will be officiating. Burial will follow in Tazewell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Grier, Jeremiah Johnson, Eric O’Neal, Dwayne Barton, Blake Morgan, Brandon Welch, Ben Murray, and Devin Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Wynn Tyler, Chad Merritt, Carey Jacobs, Colby Rustin, and Dusty Bell.

Craig was born November 2, 1982, in Americus, GA to Stanley Ray Davis and Carol Sue Craig. He worked in the logging industry for many years. Craig was an avid turkey and deer hunter. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing League 27 baseball, playing tennis and golf. He also enjoyed playing pool and spending time with his boys. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Christine Davis; maternal grandparents, James and Betty Jean Craig; Aunts, Pam Sims and Eleanor Davis and an Uncle, Kenneth Henry Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Asia Davis of Buena Vista; his mother, Carol Sue Streeter of Buena Vista; two sons, Braxton Chiavetta and Remington Blake; three aunts, Uvalyn Smith (Ray), Rosalind Whaley, and Charlene Turner; two uncles, Wayne Ray (Cheryl) and Larry Sims; caregiver, Jessica Derington; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
