Dawn Joy Scheibly, 69, of Andersonville, GA, passed away on April 25, 2026, at her residence after a brief illness.

Mrs. Scheibly was born September 21, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Frank and Maxine Harvey. She was a registered nurse by trade and served for over 45 years, having mostly worked in pediatric ER. Her last position she served as a hospice nurse for 10 years before her retirement. Mrs. Scheibly enjoyed going to dog shows with her dog, Falco, who wound up being the #3 ranked Bull Terrier in the country in 2011. She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Jack Scheibly of Andersonville; a daughter, Ahmi Buggle of Sandy Springs, GA; her mother, Maxine; and three sisters, Dana, Dianne, and Darla; two step-children, Lisa Scheibly and Robert Scheibly; and step-grandchildren, Lane and Tanner.
