Dianne Bauer Icard

Dianne Bauer Icard, 74, of Orange Park, FL, passed away on July 27, 2021, at her residence surrounded by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Tazewell Cemetery with Rev. Gail Smith officiating.

Mrs. Icard was born February 11, 1947, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Walter W. Bauer, Jr. and Thelma Foerstel Bauer. Dianne loved being around family and friends. She enjoyed taking care of others and making people smile. She would often dress in her clown attire as “Gotsum Goodnews” and visit nursing facilities spreading good cheer. She also enjoyed reuniting with her classmates from Kindley High School and assisting with planning reunions.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Lafayette Icard; a daughter, Deirdre Tate of Fenton, MO; sons Liam Icard (Signe) of Dallas, TX, and Todd Icard (Ashley) of Keystone Heights, FL; a brother, Wayne Bauer (Gerry) of Plano, TX; eight grandchildren, Sarah Weiss, Daniel and Jacob Cochran, Kylie Icard, Kacy Williams (JJ), Cobi Tate, Evie Ann and Grayson Thenholm Bond, and a great-grandchild, Jett. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
