Dorothy Lucille Ehser

Mrs. Dorothy Lucille Ehser, 88, of Buena Vista, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at County Line Primitive Baptist Church. Reverend Chris Hess will officiate. Pallbearers will be Steve Lovell, James Orr, Jose Salas, Keith Weaver, Allen Gaskill and Jessie Gaskill. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. 

Mrs. Ehser was born February 18, 1928 to the late Lloyd Mack and Annie Barr Mack in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.  She was known for her strong will, honest opinions and strength.  Mrs. Ehser was a very caring person who loved animals and was very independent up until the last few weeks of her life.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whom will be missed dearly.  Mrs. Ehser was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Joseph Ehser, a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Edgar L. Brown and a great-granddaughter, Andrea Cannon.

Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Ehser of Akron, OH and Sandy Lovell and her husband, Steve of Cusseta, GA; four grandchildren, Shawna Orr and her husband, James, Brandi Salas and her husband, Jose, Denelle Weaver and her husband, Keith, and Evonne Brown; nine great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Salas, Danny Salas, Dana Salas, Cecilia Hoffhaus, Seth Orr, Jonah Orr, Tiffany Weaver, Austin Weaver and Jacob Cannon; three great-great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kennedy and Ryder; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to PAWS Humane, 4900 Milgen Road Columbus, GA, 31907.
