Dorothy Thomas

Mrs. Dorothy Thomas, 84, of Mauk, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County.  A private family graveside will be held in Brantley Cemetery. 

Mrs. Thomas was born August 19, 1935, in Marion County to Cas E. Moulton, Sr. and Iola Crapps Moulton.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and being outside in her yard and working with her flowers.  Mrs. Thomas also liked to crochet in her spare time.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Thomas, a son, Randy Worley and five sisters, Mabel Gougler, Alice Suggs, Ruth Foster, Helen Stringfellow and Hattie Mae Ethridge. 

Survivors include her three daughters, Wanda Worley, Rita Mathews, and Brenda Scott (Michael), all of Mauk, GA; a brother, Cas E. Moulton, Jr. of Buena Vista, GA; a sister, Elsie Weaver of Buena Vista, GA; six grandchildren, Carol, Nicole, Forrest, Joseph, Melissa, and Krystal; fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been entrusted with these arrangements.
