Drew C. Owens

Mr. Drew Clinton Owens, 41, of Box Springs, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Brantley United Methodist Church with Rev. Joy Wilson officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Steele, William Spies, Jeremy Foley and Darus Cordelle

Mr. Owens was born July 16, 1977 to Clint and Laurene Peacock Owens in Fayetteville, AL. He was a member of Brantley United Methodist Church. Drew was retired from the U.S. Army.  He loved spending time with his family and his cats, and enjoyed watching Alabama football. 

Survivors include his wife, Crystal Owens of Box Springs, GA; his daughters, Krysten Owens, Theresa Owens, both of Box Springs and Elizabeth Hamer of Columbus; his parents, Clint and Laurene Owens of Buena Vista; a sister, Summer Owens of North Carolina; two step-grandchildren, Serienna Gibson and Ariabella Gibson; and a nephew, Jacob Verville.
