       ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Erskine A. Kale, age 89, of Loganville, GA died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at his residence.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Americus., GA with Bro. Troy Fripp, Mr. Rufus Yarbrough and Mr. Ray Clifton officiating.

      Mr. Kale was born June 23, 1926 in Greensboro, NC.  He was the son of the late Oscar and Maude Kale.  He had served in the U. S. Army 10th Mountain Division as Infantry Instructor from November 1944 to August 1946. Mr. Kale had worked as assistant manager at Hertz Rental car at Miami International and Palm Beach International Airports. He retired from Reeves Construction Company in Americus, GA as payroll manager. Mr. Kale was also pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Ellaville from 1979 to 1982.  Mr. Kale was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Loganville GA.  

    Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia Ann Worley and husband Roger of Loganville, GA, Karol Lynn Kale of Loganville, GA;  one son, Alex Kale and wife Judith of Snellville, GA; and one grandson, Travis Kale of Snellville, GA. Also surviving are two brothers, Buford Kale and Reginald Kale; two sisters, Corrine Loftis and Jolene Coble; and one sister in law, Marge Kale.  Mr. Kale was preceded in death by his wife Frances Kale.  

       Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
