Ms. Gail Parsons, 64, passed away on September 9, 2019 after a brief illness. Graveside memorial services will be held in Horeb-Shiloh Cemetery on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Brandenburg officiating.
Ms. Parsons was born July 23, 1955 in Reynolds, GA, the youngest of eight children. She was a member of Horeb Baptist Church. Gail retired from the United States Postal Service after almost 40 years of service, working at the Milgen Road Post Office in Columbus. Her children and grandchildren were the loves of her life, and she spent countless hours with them and would do anything they wanted. She was preceded in death by her birth parents Rudolph and Hattie Mae Harper and her adoptive parents, W.J. and Maybelle Guined Braddy; three siblings, Randolph Harper, Patricia Robinson, and Evelyn Albritton.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Toby and Tracie Clark of Butler; her daughter and son-in-law, Shanna and Matthew Glanton of Butler; a brother, Donald Harper of Oglethorpe, GA; three sisters, Ethel Fullmore of Perry, GA, Fran Harrell of Cairo, GA, and Margie Holland of Oglethorpe, GA; six grandchildren, Ty Clark (Yanett), Kennedy Grace Glanton, Trenton Drew Clark, David Trey Glanton, and Ella Rose Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Columbus Hospice, 7020 Moon Rd., Columbus, GA 31909.
