Glynda Cooper Roberts passed away peacefully, on June 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, hard work, and cherished friendships.

Born on October 12, 1957, in Cusseta, Georgia, Glynda was the beloved daughter of Glynn and Estelle Cooper. She graduated from Tri-County High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Georgia Southwestern College. Throughout her professional life, Glynda dedicated herself to caring for others as a nurse. Her career evolved into home health care, where she eventually served in administrative leadership roles, making a positive impact on countless patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Beyond her nursing career, Glynda’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to own and operate a flower shop for seven years. She later became involved in the rental property business, continuing to work diligently until her retirement. Glynda is preceded in death by her parents, Glynn Cooper and Estelle Cooper.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Dennis Roberts, along with many beloved family members and a tremendous number of dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, generosity, and friendship.

A faithful member of the Baptist Church of Buena Vista, Georgia, Glynda’s faith was an important part of her life. In accordance with her wishes there will not be a funeral service. Glynda requested that family and friends simply remember the special times they shared with her and celebrate the memories made throughout her life.

Glynda will be cremated, and her loved ones take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her mother and father in Heaven.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory of Brunswick has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs Glynda Cooper Roberts.
