     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Harold Potter Jr., age 50, of Ellaville, GA died early Thursday morning, July 10, 2014.   Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 13, 2014 in Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, GA.   Bro. Troy Fripp will officiate. 

     Mr. Potter was born January 4, 1964 in Sumter County, GA, the son of the late Marilyn Felts Thompkins and the late Harold Potter, Sr.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was of the Baptist faith.

     Mr. Potter is survived by two sons, Justin Karl Potter and wife Lindsay Mathis of Jasper, GA, Blake Foster Potter of Cusseta, GA; one daughter, Shawna Dawn Beddington and husband John Edward of Calhoun, GA;  one sister, Sharon Robinson of Ellaville, GA, two brothers, Tommy Fitzgerald and wife Margie of Americus, GA, Bill Fitzgerald and wife Shelby of Moultrie, GA.  Seven grandchildren also survive.

     Pallbearers will include Bo Fine, Michael Bryan, Jason Welch, John Beddington, Levi Goddard, Blake Potter and Justin Potter.

     Visitation will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
