Haywood Garland Baynor, Jr.

Mr. Haywood Garland Baynor, Jr., 79, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

Mr. Baynor was born May 5, 1940, in Creswell, NC, to Haywood Garland Baynor, Sr. and Martha Adams Baynor. Mr. Baynor served in the United States Army where he retired as a Staff Sergeant. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and hunting and fishing. Mr. Baynor was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tina Hudson.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Billie Eberts Baynor of Buena Vista, GA; by a son, Haywood Garland Baynor, III (Iris) of Delanor, CO; by a step-son, Tyrone Key of Americus, GA; two daughters, Janette Toomey (Tim) and Staci Hudson (Justin) of Box Springs, GA; by grandchildren, Crystal Hudson, Tabitha Salter, Samantha Gray, Ashton Cooke, Haywood G. Baynor IV, and Kari Burns; and by great-grandchildren, Nick, Allison, Abbie Grace, Ansley, Anna, Rayleigh, Payton, Richard, Haywood V, Kaitlyn, Kabin, and Josie.
