Mrs. Hazel L. Hunley, 90, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County.

Mrs. Hunley was born in Phenix City, AL, on April 6, 1935, to Bill and Elma Galloway Caffee. She attended Oakland Church of God for many years and enjoyed reading her Bible. Mrs. Hunley loved taking care of her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her younger years, she would work outside in her garden with her children and she enjoyed flowers. She would also work as a substitute in the school lunchroom when she was needed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Barrett Waters, and several siblings.

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Hunley; four children, Richard and Beverly Barrett, Judy Barrett Webb, Shirley Barrett, and Johnny and Renee Barrett; by two brothers, Harold Caffee and James Caffee; and by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
