Herbert Woodall

Mr. Herbert Woodall, age 85, of Marietta, GA, passed away at The Macby House in Marietta, GA, on Monday, January 12, 2015.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Charing United Methodist Church with Reverend Jeremy Alexander officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bloodsworth Cemetery in Charing.

Mr. Woodall was born in Mauk, GA, on January 26, 1929, to Jack and Olivia Montgomery Woodall. He attended Hardison Baptist Church in Byron. A graduate of Butler High School, he was the owner of the A&P Grocery Store for many years and after his retirement, he owned True Value Hardware in Perry, GA for several years. He loved fishing and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Tucker Woodall, a son, Herbert Dennis Woodall, a sister, Helen Crosby, and two grandchildren, Christina Wofford and Nicholas Wofford.

He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Wofford of Marietta, GA, and a grandson, Clifton Wofford and Mary Ann Woodall.
