Hilda J. Welch

Ms. Hilda J. Welch, 80, of Ellaville passed away at her residence on Friday, April 14, 2023.  Services will be private.

Ms. Welch was born February 13, 1943 in Anniston, AL to Samuel and Kathleen Lett Jones.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed looking through Facebook.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Blake Benefield and two brothers, Johnny Jones and Tommy Jones.

Survivors include her daughters, Connie Rush and her husband, Jim of Buena Vista, GA and Charlotte Everett and her husband, Randy of Ellaville; five grandchildren, Ashley Chapman (BJ) of Cataula, GA, Molly Foy (Andrew) of Buena Vista, GA, Megan Rockenhaus (Justin) of Ellaville, GA, Casey Everett (Lauren) of Watkinsville, GA, and Ben Everett of Watkinsville, GA; five great-grandchildren, Millie Chapman, Henry Chapman, Cooper Foy, Rhett Rockenhaus and Nicolas Rockenhaus; a brother, Gene Jones of Ft. Mitchell, AL; two sisters, Carolyn Stokley and her husband, Jay of Wilmington, NC and Linda Kennedy and her husband, Tim of Richmond, WA; a sister-in-law, Barbara Jones of Hixson Pike, TN; several nieces and nephews; and a bonus granddaughter, Kayla Barrett.
