James A. Brown, Jr.

James A. Brown, Jr., 70, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, March 29, 2015, in the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Reverend Brian Fuller officiating. Burial will follow the service at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 5-7PM.

Mr. Brown was born September 20, 1944, in Marion County, Georgia, to James A. Brown, Sr. and Hazel Adams Brown. He retired with the Georgia Department of Transportation as a Foreman.  Mr. Brown enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved hunting and fishing with his sons.  An avid note taker, he loved telling stories about the past. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, by a son, Robbie Brown, and by his brother, Jack “Jackie” F. Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Brown of Buena Vista, GA; a son, Jason and Ashlei Brown of Buena Vista, GA; and two grandchildren, Jake Brown and Katie Brown.
