James Michael Johnson

Mr. James Michael “Jim” Johnson, 61, of Cusseta, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at his residence.  Funeral services will be private.

Mr. Johnson was born in Middletown, OH, on August 16, 1955, to Virgil Lee and Billie Crum Johnson.  A United States Army Veteran, Mr. Johnson served during the Vietnam War. During high school at Edgewood High School in Trenton, OH, he was a football player and wrestler. He enjoyed being in the Beer Borg craft brew club. Mr. Johnson would do anything to help people and he protected his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Johnson of Cusseta, GA; by a daughter, Pamela Johnson of Columbus, GA; two step-sons, Nicholas King of Phenix City, AL, and Joseph King of Henderson, KY; a brother, Jeffery Allen Johnson of Middletown, OH; and five grandchildren, Geno, Luther, David, Brayden, and Liam.
