Mr. Jason R. "Tater" Studdard, 52, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away suddenly on June 4, 2026. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 1780 Power Station Rd., Buena Vista, GA 31803 beginning at 12:00PM.

Jason was born in Americus, GA on September 13, 1973 to Lannie and Larry Studdard, who preceded him in death. Jason or "Tater" as he was affectionately known, enjoyed fishing, grilling, NASCAR, spending time with his family by the pool, watching his great nieces and nephews in the yard and talking shit to everybody.  He never met a stranger anywhere he went! 

Survivors include his son, Dillon Studdard of Washington, DC; a brother, Eric Studdard and his wife, Denise of Buena Vista; a sister, Michelle Studdard of Preston, GA; and nieces and nephew, Gabby Tyler, Brittany Harris, Brodie Studdard, and Brianna Studdard; and great nieces and nephews, Kayleigh Harris, Aubree Harris, Weston Harris, Carson Studdard, and Marley Owens
