Jean Moates Harbuck

ELLAVILLE, GA— Mrs. Jean Moates Harbuck, 72, of Ellaville died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA.  Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. George Hill officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ellaville Cemetery.  A visitation will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home.

     Mrs. Harbuck was born May 3, 1945 to the late Curtis and Lillie Mae Moates in Clanton, AL.  She had worked at Rent-A-Center.  Mrs. Harbuck enjoyed cooking, Facebook and her church.  She was a member of Living Word Christian Ministry.  Mrs. Harbuck was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

     Survivors include  her husband, Linton Harbuck; children, Diana Perry of Cochran, GA, John Goodall (Debbie) of Ellaville, Jeannie Murphy of Fort Valley, GA, Charles “Scooter” Jenkins (Nikki) of Ellaville, Yvonne Jenkins of Ellaville.  Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, three great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.  Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were son, Ricky Goodall, brother, Bobby Moates and sister, Helen Fortune. 

      Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Hall, Cody Goodall, Dennis Moore, Bryan Shaw, John Goodall, Clifton Aldridge and Daniel Raburn.

     Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
