Jeffie Preston Isom

Mr. Jeffie Preston Isom, 86, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County in Buena Vista, GA.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016, at 11:00am in the New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Chapman officiating. The family will greet friends at the graveside one hour prior to the service time.

Mr. Isom was born October 17, 1929, in Marion County, GA, to Lester and Lila Duncan Isom. He enjoyed farming and horses and retired from the State Highway Department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Farrah McDaniel Isom.

He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Janice Isom of Mauk, GA; and by four sisters, Sara Anthony of Mauk, GA, Bobbie Jean Sivell and Jeanette Sivell both of Pine Mountain, GA, and by Judy Kirby of LaGrange, GA; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
