Joann Cromer

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Joann Cromer, age 75, of Ellaville, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville with burial to follow in the Ellaville Cemetery.   Bro. Troy Fripp will officiate.

      Mrs. Cromer was born December 28, 1939 in Americus, GA to Floyd and Nadine Preskitt. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Mrs. Cromer also loved yard sales and thrift shops.  She attended New Life Baptist Church. Mrs. Cromer was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Cromer.

    Survivors include five sons, Randy Cromer and wife Cindy of Byron, GA, Kenny Cromer of Panama City, FL, Darren Cromer of Panama City, FL, David Cromer of Ellaville, Daryl Cromer and wife Shannon of Ellaville; two daughters, Darlene Taylor and companion Dayne Webster, of Ellaville, Debra Taylor and husband Steve of Ellaville; three brothers, Ronnie Preskitt and wife Mary of Panama City, FL, Donnie Preskitt and wife Trish of Perry, GA, Cliff Preskitt of Pensacola, FL; two sisters, Shirley Peters and husband Bob of Leesburg, GA, Marie Pevler and husband Larry of Buford, GA. Mrs. Cromer was also survived by twenty two grandchildren, fifteen great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

      Pallbearers will be Todd Taylor, Brian Belcher, Chris Cromer, Josh Taylor, Farren Cromer, Chase Cromer, Jacob Cromer and Robert Cromer.

      Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.
