Mr. Joseph Charles “Joey” Nagy, 42, of Tazewell, GA, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at his residence. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Nagy was born in Indiana, PA, on August 20, 1983, to Joseph A. and Deborah Lezanic Nagy. He was employed as a caddie with Fall Line Club and as Superintendent of Cedar Creek Golf & Country Club. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Nagy earned his bachelor’s degree in turfgrass management. He enjoyed being on the golf course with his family and dogs. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Lena Nagy and Charles and Darlene Lezanic.

He is survived by his parents, Joe and Debi Nagy; and by a brother, Matt Nagy all of Tazewell, GA. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Services for the Nagy Family have been under the care and direction of Way-Watson Funeral Home.
