Kenley James Potter

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Kenley James Potter, age 44, of Columbus , GA died early Friday morning, May 21, 2010. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in the Chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, GA. Bro. Troy Fripp will officiate.
Mr. Potter was born March 28, 1966 in Sumter County, GA, the son of Marilyn Felts Thompkins and the late Harold Potter. He worked in the construction business and was a member of Brooklyn Heights Baptist Church in Americus, GA.
Mr. Potter is survived by, in addition to his mother, one sister, Sharon Robinson of Ellaville, GA; three brothers, Harold Potter, Jr. of Ellaville, GA , Tommy Fitzgerald of Americus, GA and Bill Fitzgerald of Moultrie, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Pallbearers will include, Bill Potter, Will Potter, Sport Crowe, Ricky Strickland, Frankie Nobles, Antonio Villazeza, and Jamie Crowe. Honorary pallbearers will include Justin Potter and Jason Welch.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 24, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
