Larry Buchannan Slocumb

Mr. Larry Buchannan Slocumb, 72, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Slocumb was born June 5, 1944, in Doerun, GA, to Claude and Annie Mae Perkins Slocumb. He was a Veteran and served in the U. S. Army. Mr. Slocumb was a heavy equipment operator with Crowder Excavating before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a good husband, father, and granddaddy. 

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Terissa Slocumb of Mauk, GA; a son, Mark Slocumb of Mauk, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Dallas and Clif Satterfield of West Point, GA; and two grandchildren, Cody Slocumb and Axle Slocumb.
