Leslie D Rand

ELLAVILLE, GA—Mr. Leslie Dean Rand, 65, of Ellaville, passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 31, 2019.  His wishes were to be cremated and buried next to his late wife, Sandra Rand.

     Mr. Rand was born on November 12, 1953 in Iowa to the late Lester and Lois Rand.  He enjoyed hunting, working on his truck, listening to music and NASCAR racing.  Mr. Rand was employed with Wells Grain and Peanut Company.  He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

     Survivors include his fiancée, Carrie Moyle of Ellaville; sons, Jessie Rand and Jason Rand, both of Iowa; daughter, Cheryl Wellner of Iowa; brothers, Larry Rand of New York and Leroy Rand of Kansas.  In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Rand was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Rand.
