Lydia Shawn Brown

Ms. Lydia Shawn Brown, 50, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ms. Brown was born in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, on August 9, 1973, to Jonathan Payne and Elaine Green Payne. She was a homemaker and her main focus was her grandchildren. Ms. Brown loved horses and everything about them.  She was a good person and tried to help everybody. She was preceded in death by her parents, by a daughter, Cassie Gail Durham-Olsen, and by her sister, Sloan Rogers.

Ms. Brown is survived by her son Link Durham (Kristina Olsen) of Mauk, GA; by her step-mother, Anita Payne; and by five grandchildren, Mercy Olsen, Gemma Durham, Benjamin Clayton Durham, Shadow Olsen, and Maddyx Olsen.
