Mrs. Margie Nell Taylor Dillard, 85, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Magnolia Manor in Buena Vista, GA. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, November 25, 2022, at Buena Vista Cemetery with Bro. Ryan Mitchell and Rev. Jimmie Chapman officiating. The family will greet friends after the service at the home of Ernest and Evelyn Hart, 2076 Mount Zion Rd Buena Vista GA.

Mrs. Dillard was born October 4, 1937, in Montezuma, GA, to Jesse Lemon and Winell Satterfield Taylor. She was Baptist by faith and a member of First Baptist Church in Buena Vista where she was active with the Baptist WMU.  Mrs. Dillard worked with her husband Larry, at Dillard’s Grocery for almost 30 years before their retirement.  She enjoyed cooking and loved to feed people. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Larry Dillard.

She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Rex Mitchell of Lake City, FL, Carol and Gene Milton of Jasper, FL, and Janet and Berry Teele of Ellaville, GA; by a brother, Douglas and Ginger Taylor of Americus, GA; by her grandchildren, Ryan and Elizabeth Mitchell and their children James and Matthew, Patrick and Brigitte Mitchell and their children Nolan and Drake, Gena and Julian Wynn and their children Lane and Melody, Justin and Lexi Milton and their children Naomi and Elleri, Lance and Vicki Teele and their children Tuck, Ellie Mae, and Rhett, and Caleb and Paula Teele and their children, Jacey, Addy, Colton, Brayden, Jordan, and Isaiah; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Evelyn & Ernest Hart of Buena Vista; and several nieces and nephews.
