Mary Virginia "Ginger" Bailey

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Ms. Mary Virginia "Ginger" Bailey, age 47, of Americus, GA, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held graveside at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Americus, GA.  Rev. William Hall will officiate.

      Ms. Bailey was born October 15, 1966 in Sumter County, Georgia.  She was a bookkeeper and worked in collections.  She was of the Baptist faith.

    Survivors include her father, Tyrone Powell and wife Carolyn of Ellaville; mother, Margie Varnum of Americus; two sons, Justin Bailey and wife Lacy of Ellaville, Blake Bailey of Americus. Two grandchildren, Katelyn Bailey and Madyson Bailey also survive.

      Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.  Contributions may be made for funeral expenses to account at The Peoples Bank, 46 E. Oglethorpe Street, P. O. Box 565, Ellaville, GA 31806 in the name of Justin Bailey for the benefit of Mary Virginia Bailey.  The family will be meeting at the home of Tyrone and Carolyn Powell, 2177 Dozier Road, Ellaville, GA.
