Mrs. Mary Inez Vanzant Streetman, 82, of Ellaville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, surrounded by her family. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Merrell Cemetery with Bro. Troy Fripp officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Streetman, Greg Streetman, Frank Griff, Travis Streetman, Preston Streetman, Jordan Griff, Jeffrey Griff, Heath Webb, Noah Chambers, and Cole Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be Ramsey Goff, Tucker Greene, Dean Bennett, Clint Couey, and Zoe Bell.

Mrs. Streetman was born in Winterhaven, FL, on April 9, 1943, to John Plemons and Julie Christine Harden Vanzant. A devoted Christian, she loved Jesus and spent many evenings with her family studying the Bible. Mrs. Streetman loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and collecting antiques and ran an antique shop many years ago. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she looked forward to it every year. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kay Schultz and Shirley Miller, and a grandson, Jonathan Streetman.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Boyette Streetman; three sons, Billy and Ann Streetman, Greg and Becky Streetman, and Ronnie and Stephanie Streetman; one daughter, Gina and Frank Griff, all of Ellaville, GA; two brothers, John “Sonny” Vanzant and Ernest Vanzant and a sister, Joanne Hancock; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Way-Watson Funeral Home of Ellaville has been entrusted with these arrangements.
