Michael Bentley Theus

Mr. Michael “Mike” Bentley Theus, age 54, of Ellaville died Monday, November 16, 2020 at Phoebe Putney North in Albany, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Ellaville United Methodist Church with Bro. Troy Fripp and Rev. Sandi Conley officiating. Pallbearers serving will be Sid Theus, Chris Theus, Jim Harvey, Rusty Harvey Chip Sanderlin, and Clarence Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be, Josh Theus, Jessie Cook, Ben Cook, and Trey DeVane. A visitation will be held at Way-Watson Funeral Home Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Due to Covid-19, face coverings are encouraged and please practice social distancing.
Mr. Theus was born in Americus, GA on July 1, 1966 the son of Carlynn Kirby and the late Clarence Bentley Theus. He had worked at T & R Custom. Mr. Theus loved spending time with family and friends and his special dog, Billy. He also enjoyed NASCAR. In addition to his father, Mr. Theus was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Murray and his sister Laura Cook.
Mr. Theus is survived by his mother, Carlynn Kirby (Charles) of Ellaville; his sister, Pat Theus Bartlett of Ellaville; special cousins, Sid Theus, Chris Theus, Sue Martin, Dawn Peeples; and several nieces and nephews.
