Myrtise Lee Felker

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Myrtise Lee Felker, age 73, of Ellaville, GA, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2015 in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.  Bro. Troy Fripp and Rev. Samuel West will officiate.

    Mrs. Felker was born February 19, 1941 in Cordele, GA to John Thomas Pate and Inez Bailey Pate.  She worked at Troy's Snack Shack.  Mrs. Felker loved to camp, fish and spend time with her family.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.

    Survivors include one son, Ricky Felker of Ellaville; four daughters, Shelbie Brannen and husband J. R. of Ellaville, Kim Felker of Ellaville, Janet Abbott and husband Clint of Jackson, GA, Ouida Davis and husband Troy of Leesburg, GA; one brother, Ronnie Pate and wife Vickie of Americus, GA; three sisters, Gerri Varnum of Americus, GA, Jeanette Greene of Americus, GA and Pansy Bowman and husband Wayne of Alabama; nine grandchildren, Robin Rushing Smith and husband Dustin, Logan Felker, Shane Jordan, Destinee Green, Jaxson Felker, Justin Abbott and wife Kerissa, Dillon Abbott, Scott Hortman and wife Kristie, Steven “Buckshot” Dollar and wife Nicole. Also surviving are four great grandchildren and serveral nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Felker was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Felker and one brother, Thomas Pate.

      Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday February 7, 2015 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.  The family will be meeting at the home of Scott and Kristie Hortman, 2434 Lacrosse Road, Ellaville, GA.
