Natividad Rodriguez Pagan, Sr.

Mr. Natividad Rodriguez Pagan, Sr., of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Crawford officiating. Burial will follow the service at Buena Vista Cemetery.

Mr. Pagan was born December 25, 1933, to Filomena Rodriguez in Patillas, Puerto Rico. He retired from Merit Sprinkler Company and worked in the mechanic business part-time. Later, he started his own pine straw business. Mr. Pagan worked part-time until he was 88 years old. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy J. Mathis Pagan, two sisters, Felicita Pagan and Petra Mendez, and two sons, Natividad R. Pagan, Jr. and Johnny Mathis.

He is survived by three brothers, Julio Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez, and José Rodriguez; by a sister, Eloisa Cruz; six daughters, Felicita Pagan, Lolita Pagan, Basia Smith, Deborah Hines-Moore, Jeanette Williams, and Lisa Garcia; three sons, Ricardo Pagan, Manolito Pagan, and Gregory Mathis; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Valentina Diaz, Magdalena Jones and her husband Benny Jones, Margarita Mendenz, Miriam Rodriguez, Emily Cruz, and Melvin Mendenz. Numeorus grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
