Patricia Popiel Dalon

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Patricia Popiel Dalon died in her home on June 21, 2015 in Nashville, TN after an extended illness.  Born on January 28, 1951 in Americus, GA, Pat spent her formative years in Ellaville before moving to Atlanta.  She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Annie Inez Popiel and grandparents Ausey Lee and Annie Mae Snyder Smith of Ellaville and Jules & Pearl Popiel of Philidelphia, PA.

A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her three children: Dustin Dalon, David Dalon and Carrie Dalon Smith and four grandchildren: Caitlyn, Addison & Teagan Dalon and Ryder Smith.  Pat is also survived by her brother H. Ronald Popiel and sister Melanie Popiel Cook.

Pat had a lifelong love of horses which she enjoyed over the years, riding and caring for her own as a child and adult.

There will be a brief memorial service conducted by Rev. Jonathan Beckum at Ellaville United Methodist Church in Ellaville, GA on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 3:00 PM.
