Patricia "Patty" Wade

Mrs. Patricia “Patty” Swint Wade, 74, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at her residence. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home in Buena Vista on February 8, 2020, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeremy Alexander and Rev. Jerry Akin officiating.

Mrs. Wade was born in Columbia, MS, on June 29, 1945, to Robert Lee, Jr. and Lillian Warren Swint. She retired from the Marion County School System where she was a teacher. Mrs. Wade was a member of Buena Vista United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee “Bobby” Swint, III.

She is survived by her husband, James H. “Rocky” Wade of Buena Vista, GA; a son Heath Flynt Wade and his wife Tammy of Cusseta, GA; a daughter, Janna Johnson Sieg of Canada; a brother, Carter Warren Swint of Buena Vista, GA; a sister-in-law, Virginia Hall “Ginger” Swint of Buena Vista, GA; two grandchildren, Tayte Harmon and Natalie Harmon; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buena Vista United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 449, Buena Vista, GA, 31803.
