Patrick Dewey Gill

Mr. Patrick Dewey Gill, 66, of Ellaville, passed away on May 2, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 11:00AM in Ellaville Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Bankhead, Rev. Gary Gill, and Rev. Zack Gill officiating. Burial will follow in Ellaville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frankie Lamberth, Ryan Gill, Josh Taylor, Stephen Morris, Jax Windham, and Mason Lamberth. The family will greet friends at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Mr. Gill was born September 13, 1958, in Royal Oak, MI to Clark D., Sr. and Martha Kathleen Bishop Gill. He was a member of Ellaville Methodist Church. Dewey graduated from the Mercer University School of Law in 1985. He was also a fire fighter with the Schley County Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jeff Gill, Barbara Deview, Randy Gill, Clark D. Gill, Jr., Betty Miller and Peggy Wood.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Cindy Eason Gill; four brothers, Zack Gill, Tyrus Gill (Ann), Gary Gill (Valerie) and Russell Gill (Kim); a sister-in-law, Bernice LeMaitre; a brother-in-law, David Deview; and numerous nieces and nephews.
