Paul Alfred Tallman, Sr.

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Paul Alfred Tallman, Sr., age 65, of 1256B Jimmy Wells Road, died early Wednesday morning, August 12, 2009 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2009 in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Bro. Troy Fripp will officiate.
Mr. Tallman was born June 16, 1944 in Hanover, NH, the son of Emma May and Fred Elwin Turner. He was a carpenter and served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Tallman is survived by his wife, Shirley Lee Tallman; two daughters, Cindy Tallman of Guntersville, AL, Teresa Cornet of Oglesby TX; two sons and daughters in law, Paul and Christi Tallman of Ellaville, Wade and Angela Tallman of Lyons, GA; three sisters and brother in law, Betty Jean and Rafael Carbonell of Orange, VT, Jane Dustin of Claremont, NH, and Jenny Dezmen of Charlestown, NH. Also surviving is one grandchild, Elliott Cornet and good friends Henry and Anna LaPerle of Graniteville, VT.
Pallbearers will include Keith Renfroe, Davy Buchanan, John Albritton, Adan Clark, Walter Bridges, Jason Justice, Todd Carpenter and Bill Stewart .
Visitation will be held Friday, August 14 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
