Robert Wells

Mr. Robert Lee Wells, 64, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Draneville Union Church Cemetery with Joey Wells officiating. The family will greet friends after the service.

Mr. Wells was born in Columbus, GA, on July 7, 1959, to James Mack and Lena Mae Hancock Wells. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, and growing tomatoes. Mr. Wells had worked as a pine tree planter before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Williams Wells.

He is survived by his parents, James Mack and Lena Mae Wells; by a brother, Carl Wells; nephew, Chad Wells; great-nephew, Liam Wells; and by an uncle and aunt, Myron and Patsy Wells.
