Sandi Taylor

       ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Sandi Taylor, age 69, of Ellaville, GA died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at her son’s residence in Carrollton, GA.  Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.   Mrs. Sarah Walls and Mrs. Frances Davenport will officiate.

      Mrs. Taylor was born March 3, 1945 in Holtville, CA the daughter of Leroy Hershel Atkinson and Doris Ingley Atkinson.  She had worked at Gill Drugs for a number of years before becoming a bookkeeper for Planters Hardware in Ellaville.  She was an avid fan of the University of Alabama sports and enjoyed bowling, having bowled in a local league, the Peach Bowl Pitts, for several years.

    Survivors include one son, Lance Taylor and wife Rebecca of Carrollton, GA; two grandchildren, Macie Taylor and Jeremiah Taylor; one brother, Scott Atkinson of El Centro, CA; and six cousins, Bob Gray, Shirley McClure, Betty Holland, Sue Nell, Peggy Marrs, and Nancy Romaine.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Taylor and one brother, Danny Atkinson.

   Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Phoebe-Sumter Hospice, P. O.
