Sarah Webb

Mrs. Sarah Ard Webb, 81, of Columbus, GA, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in the Chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Webb officiating. Friends may visit with Mrs. Webb at Way-Watson Funeral Home on Monday, August 16, 2021, from 10:00am-4:00pm.

Mrs. Webb was born May 1, 1940, in Warm Springs, GA, to Dillard and Mary E. Scott Ard. She was employed as a processing clerk at Ft. Benning Civil Service before her retirement. Mrs. Webb was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Webb.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Whitehurst of Columbus, GA; by a brother Fredrick Ard of Denver, CO; and by two grandchildren, Lauren Whitehurst and Starr Whitehurst
