Shane D. Curles

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Shane D. Curles, age 30, of 276 Dixon Drive, Ellaville, GA, died Monday morning, August 24, 2009 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM at DeSoto Baptist Church. Bro. Troy Fripp will officiate.
Mr. Curles was born December 22, 1978 in Sumter County, the son of Joyce Owen and Randy Curles. He was a carpenter. Mr. Curles was a member of DeSoto Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Owen and her companion Kenny Martin of Ellaville, his father, Randy Curles and wife Donna of Tifton, GA; one sister, Jamie Owen and her fiance Joshua Jones of Columbus, GA; four brothers, Brian Bailey and wife Erica of Ellaville, Danny Bailey and wife April of Albany, GA, Corey Lee of Tifton, GA and David Madison of Tifton, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
